Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health strategies targeting vulnerable populations in Minneapolis
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform intervention planning
- Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies
- Manage grant-funded programs and ensure compliance with public health regulations
- Lead health education campaigns and outreach initiatives across diverse neighborhoods
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and state health departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in SPSS, SAS, or R for statistical analysis
- Experience with community-based participatory research methods
- Knowledge of Minnesota public health statutes and regulations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
- Bilingual (English/Spanish, Somali, or Hmong) preferred
