Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Develop educational materials and conduct outreach across diverse Philadelphia neighborhoods
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to improve health outcomes
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and recommend policy improvements
- Manage grant-funded projects and report on program effectiveness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and health informatics
- Strong understanding of CDC guidelines and Pennsylvania public health regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
