Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable communities
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for health crises and natural disasters
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Conduct health education workshops and outreach campaigns
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare detailed reports for county leadership and public stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and HIPAA regulations
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and community partnerships
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
