Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Collaborate with community organizations to address health disparities
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and reporting requirements
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Conduct community health assessments and program evaluations
- Provide expert testimony to county boards and commissions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of public health program management experience
- Valid California Public Health Certification (CPH) required
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
- Valid California driver's license
