Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health education campaigns targeting diverse populations
- Coordinate disease surveillance and rapid response protocols for health emergencies
- Lead community vaccination drives and health screening initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to deliver integrated services
- Prepare detailed public health reports for county leadership and stakeholders
- Train frontline staff on public health protocols and crisis management
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS)
- Experience managing community health initiatives in diverse populations
- Valid Nevada driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during emergencies
- Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
