Responsibilities
- Design and implement public health education campaigns for diverse communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health threats
- Partner with schools, nonprofits, and healthcare providers
- Manage grant-funded health improvement projects
- Conduct community health assessments and needs analyses
- Develop culturally appropriate health materials
- Represent the department at public health forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of public health program experience
- Valid Missouri Public Health Practitioner certification
- Experience with health data analysis software (SPSS, SAS)
- Proven grant writing and management skills
- Strong community engagement background
- Knowledge of CDC and MO DHSS protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
