Responsibilities
- Design and implement community health outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Develop educational materials on public health topics including vaccination and disease prevention
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Partner with local healthcare providers and non-profits to expand health access
- Monitor compliance with county and state health regulations
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and Minnesota public health statutes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse community stakeholders
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
