Responsibilities
- Develop and execute evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Coordinate inter-agency partnerships for resource sharing and program integration
- Lead community outreach initiatives to improve health literacy and access to services
- Monitor program compliance with state and federal health regulations
- Prepare detailed reports on health outcomes and intervention effectiveness
- Advocate for policy changes addressing social determinants of health
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficient in SPSS, SAS, or R for statistical analysis
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding applications
- Knowledge of Louisiana public health systems and regulations
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
