Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions across diverse communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend policy changes
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for natural disasters and health crises
- Manage community outreach programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with federal/state agencies on health equity initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and public health councils
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R
- Experience with grant writing and budget management
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
