Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and outbreaks
- Develop community health education materials and deliver workshops
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers and community organizations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for federal and state health compliance
- Lead emergency response planning for public health crises
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government/public health sector
- Strong statistical analysis and data interpretation skills
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with public health surveillance systems
- Valid Nevada driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during emergencies
