Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data and trends to identify public health priorities and risks
- Develop and implement evidence-based health intervention programs for community impact
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for government stakeholders and policymakers
- Ensure compliance with CDC guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and Florida Department of Health standards
- Coordinate with community partners and agencies to address health disparities
- Manage grant-funded projects and oversee budget allocations for public health initiatives
- Lead public health emergency response planning and execution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health analysis or government health programs
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools
- Valid Florida Driver's License and ability to travel to county sites
- Knowledge of federal/state healthcare regulations and grant management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent preferred
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with policy development experience
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive health data access
