Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Lead community outreach initiatives in underserved neighborhoods
- Develop grant proposals and manage public health funding allocations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits on health education campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive reports for City Council and state health agencies
- Mentor junior staff and supervise public health interns
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health program management
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Valid California Public Health Analyst certification
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong bilingual skills in English/Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of California Title 22 regulations and HIPAA compliance
