Responsibilities
- Design and execute community health outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform intervention strategies
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations on health initiatives
- Develop educational materials and conduct public health workshops on disease prevention
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and recommend policy improvements
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets for health initiatives
- Respond to public health inquiries and provide expert guidance during health crises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience developing community health partnerships and stakeholder engagement
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Excellent written communication skills for reports and grant applications
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation for field visits
