Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven public health intervention strategies targeting underserved communities
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze health trends to inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to expand outreach programs
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Lead community health education workshops and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports on health outcomes and program effectiveness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Strong proficiency in epidemiological data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and budget management
- Excellent communication skills with diverse community stakeholders
- Valid Kentucky driver's license and ability to travel county-wide
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health confidentiality standards
