Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health intervention programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and resource allocation needs
- Coordinate with community stakeholders and healthcare providers to deliver culturally competent health education
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead crisis response initiatives during public health emergencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports for policy development and funding opportunities
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and other regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid Michigan Public Health Certification
- Proven experience with grant writing and federal compliance
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish)
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
