Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and surveillance for communicable diseases
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses and public health crisis management
- Analyze health data trends and prepare comprehensive reports for policy recommendations
- Lead community outreach initiatives to improve health literacy and access to services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on health equity initiatives and resource allocation
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with public health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and HIPAA regulations
- Experience with community engagement and multicultural populations
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Valid Texas driver's license and willingness to travel across the city
