Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and data analysis to identify health trends
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Lead community outreach and education initiatives on health equity
- Collaborate with government agencies and non-profit partners on health initiatives
- Prepare and present public health reports to city officials and stakeholders
- Monitor compliance with federal and state public health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in government/public health sector
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SPSS/R
- Experience with emergency preparedness planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
