Responsibilities
- Coordinate urgent public health response initiatives across Omaha communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
- Lead community outreach programs for underserved populations
- Collaborate with state/federal agencies during health emergencies
- Prepare comprehensive public health reports for county leadership
- Maintain compliance with CDC and Nebraska Department of Health guidelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field required
- 3+ years of public health emergency response experience
- Valid Nebraska Public Health Certification
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, R, or similar)
- Exceptional crisis communication abilities
- Experience with grant writing for health initiatives
- Knowledge of Omaha's diverse community demographics
- Ability to work flexible hours during emergencies
