Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and recommend interventions
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Collaborate with community partners to address social determinants of health
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with public health standards
- Prepare detailed reports for county commissioners and state health agencies
- Lead community outreach initiatives to improve vaccination rates and preventive care
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with emergency preparedness planning
- Strong grant writing and project management skills
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
