Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies for Louisville Metro
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for health crises and natural disasters
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Manage community outreach programs for underserved populations
- Collaborate with state/federal health agencies on compliance initiatives
- Train healthcare providers and community stakeholders on best practices
- Prepare grant proposals and manage public health funding allocations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of government or public health sector experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with emergency preparedness planning
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Strong grant writing and budget management abilities
- Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement
