Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend public health screenings and immunization clinics across San Antonio communities
- Provide emergency response support during public health incidents on weekends and holidays
- Collect, analyze, and report epidemiological data during weekend operational periods
- Coordinate with community partners for weekend health education outreach events
- Manage weekend logistics for mobile health units and special health initiatives
- Document weekend service activities and prepare weekly impact reports
- Participate in cross-agency weekend drills and preparedness exercises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related health field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 1 year of public health or healthcare experience with weekend/holiday availability
- Current Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency in bilingual communication (English/Spanish)
- Ability to work independently in diverse community settings during weekends
- Experience with public health data collection and reporting systems
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or willingness to obtain
