Responsibilities
- Manage emergency call routing for police, fire, and medical services
- Maintain accurate documentation of all communications in CAD/RMS systems
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide clear, calm instructions during emergency situations
- Operate radio equipment and specialized communication systems
- Train new personnel on communication protocols
- Participate in continuous quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years customer service or call center experience
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Proficiency with computer-aided dispatch systems
- Valid Kansas driver's license
- Pass extensive background check and drug screening
- EMT or dispatch certification preferred
- Fluent in English with clear communication skills
