Responsibilities
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS resources during weekend peak hours
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Operate CAD systems and emergency communication equipment
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and caller guidance
- Train weekend shift personnel on protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years emergency dispatch or public safety experience
- NENA/ APCO certification preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to work rotating weekends/holidays
- Clear background check and drug screen
- Proficient in multi-tasking under pressure
