Responsibilities
- Provide critical public safety services during weekend shifts, including emergency response and community outreach
- Conduct patrols and maintain visible security presence in designated El Paso areas
- Assist with incident documentation, report writing, and evidence collection
- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Deliver public education programs on safety protocols and crime prevention
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts promptly
- Participate in weekend community events and public engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of public service or security experience
- Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Texas Peace Officer License or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Pass background check and drug screening
