Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community outreach programs across Illinois districts
- Analyze public policy data to inform strategic recommendations
- Coordinate inter-agency collaborations for public service initiatives
- Manage grant applications and compliance reporting for federal/state funds
- Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions with local government officials
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports for legislative committees
- Mentor junior staff through structured onboarding programs
- Represent the agency at regional public forums and conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or nonprofit program management
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Illinois residency required upon hire
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with federal grant application processes (SAM.gov)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) preferred
