Responsibilities
- Process and resolve citizen inquiries across multiple service channels including phone, email, and in-person
- Assist with permit applications, license renewals, and municipal document processing
- Collaborate with department heads to coordinate emergency response protocols
- Conduct public outreach programs for community education initiatives
- Maintain accurate records using municipal databases and document management systems
- Support election administration and voter registration services
- Participate in cross-functional task forces for city-wide projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting process
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (highly preferred)
- Experience with public records management
- Knowledge of California municipal regulations
