Responsibilities
- Oversee infrastructure project management and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Manage departmental budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for public works initiatives
- Conduct performance evaluations and staff development programs
- Prepare detailed reports for city council and regulatory bodies
- Implement sustainable urban development strategies
- Ensure adherence to OSHA and EPA safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Public Administration (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of municipal project management experience
- Valid Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS mapping systems
- Strong knowledge of federal grant application processes
- Experience leading teams of 10+ professionals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- US citizenship and clean background check
