Responsibilities
- Conduct daily field inspections of public works construction sites for compliance with approved plans and safety protocols

- Verify materials meet specifications and quality standards
- Monitor project timelines and milestone progress
- Prepare daily inspection logs and progress updates for project managers
- Enforce OSHA regulations and municipal safety codes
- Participate in pre-construction and post-conference meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of construction inspection or public works experience
- Valid Massachusetts Class D driver's license
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with inspection software and field reporting tools
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts building codes and DOT regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
