Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including street maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Operate heavy equipment safely (backhoes, dump trucks, loaders) following OSHA standards
- Assist in snow removal and emergency weather response operations
- Maintain accurate work logs and complete required documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Adhere to all city safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Participate in regular equipment maintenance and inspection procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or related field
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting
- Successful completion of pre-employment physical and drug screen
