Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of infrastructure projects including roads, drainage systems, and public facilities
- Verify compliance with city codes, engineering standards, and federal regulations
- Prepare detailed inspection reports with photographic documentation and recommendations
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and city departments to resolve compliance issues
- Review construction plans and specifications before project commencement
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all inspections
- Provide technical guidance to construction teams and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of construction inspection or project management experience
- Valid California Inspector Certification (ICC or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and OSHA standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret technical blueprints and engineering documents
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States
