Responsibilities
- Inspect construction sites for compliance with municipal codes and blueprints
- Review engineering plans and permit applications for accuracy
- Document findings and generate detailed inspection reports
- Collaborate with contractors to resolve code violations
- Conduct field investigations for public infrastructure complaints
- Maintain inspection records using GIS mapping systems
- Provide technical guidance to development project teams
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3+ years construction inspection experience
- ICC certifications in Building/Plumbing or equivalent
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Proficiency with CAD and inspection software
- Knowledge of Arizona Building Codes and OSHA standards
- Ability to read complex construction blueprints
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
