Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, sweepers)
- Assist in stormwater drainage system upkeep
- Respond to emergency weather-related incidents (flooding, ice)
- Support recycling and waste management programs
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience with hand/power tools and basic equipment
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
