Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of city parks, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery including mowers, trimmers, and hand tools
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Conduct daily safety inspections of municipal facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
- Support community events setup and breakdown
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- 1+ years landscaping/construction experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong commitment to public service excellence
