Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including street sweeping, debris removal, and landscape maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., lawnmowers, power washers) following safety protocols
- Assist in construction and repair projects (sidewalks, drainage systems)
- Support emergency response during weather events or public safety incidents
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid California Class C Driver's License (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or municipal services preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and emergencies
