Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks, graders, and snow removal equipment
- Respond to emergency weather events for snow/ice control
- Assist in construction and repair projects including water/sewer systems
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain equipment documentation
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on municipal initiatives
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred
- Minimum 1 year construction/maintenance experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed
