Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist in infrastructure maintenance (roads, drainage systems, public facilities)
- Operate light machinery (street sweepers, mowers, utility vehicles)
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Complete daily work logs and report equipment maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor in varied weather
- Basic knowledge of construction/maintenance practices
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with municipal equipment preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
