Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light/heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Respond to emergency weather conditions (floods, freezes) as needed
- Support landscaping and park maintenance initiatives
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols
- Document work activities and equipment usage accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Experience with construction/maintenance equipment preferred
- Basic knowledge of traffic control and safety signage
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
