Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers) safely and efficiently
- Assist in stormwater drainage system upkeep
- Support park and recreational area maintenance
- Participate in emergency response operations during weather events
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Complete daily inspection reports and work logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- 1+ years of construction/maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays during emergencies
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
