Responsibilities
- Maintain city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, graders, dump trucks)
- Perform landscape maintenance and park upkeep
- Respond to weather emergencies (snow/ice removal, flooding)
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards
- Support recycling and waste management initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas Class B CDL license
- 2+ years equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Texas Class A Water/Wastewater Operator preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
