Responsibilities
- Perform street cleaning, waste collection, and park maintenance operations
- Operate and maintain equipment including trucks, sweepers, and hand tools
- Assist in infrastructure repair projects including pothole filling and sidewalk repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper waste disposal procedures
- Respond to weather emergencies including snow removal and storm cleanup
- Document work activities and report maintenance issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience preferred
- Strong commitment to safety regulations and proper ergonomics
- Ability to follow written instructions and work independently
- Must pass background check and pre-employment physical
