Responsibilities
- Perform infrastructure maintenance including street repairs, drainage systems, and sidewalk upkeep
- Operate light machinery and hand tools for construction projects
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain equipment per OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal improvement initiatives
- Document work activities and maintain accurate field reports
- Support emergency response operations during weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years construction/maintenance experience preferred
- Valid Washington State Driver's License Class B
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
- Basic computer skills for reporting systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
