Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including street repairs, park maintenance, and snow removal operations
- Operate light machinery (e.g., mowers, sweepers, hand tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist with traffic control during public events and emergency situations
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal infrastructure projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Minnesota Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or similar field
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment operation
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
