Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, and public spaces
- Operate heavy equipment including graders, dump trucks, and snowplows
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Conduct park maintenance including landscaping and playground repairs
- Participate in emergency response for weather-related incidents
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain equipment documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project completion
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction/public works
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and power tools
