Responsibilities
- Perform street maintenance, including pothole repair and striping
- Operate heavy machinery (dump trucks, graders, loaders) safely
- Assist in storm drain cleaning and flood control projects
- Maintain parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities
- Respond to emergency weather-related infrastructure issues
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and city maintenance standards
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year construction/maintenance experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and heavy equipment
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred
