Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery including sweepers, mowers, and hand tools
- Assist in snow removal and emergency weather response operations
- Support park maintenance and public space beautification projects
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Document work activities and submit accurate daily reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with hand tools, power equipment, or landscaping preferred
- Basic knowledge of construction/maintenance safety standards
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Strong teamwork ethic and reliable attendance record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
