Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, debris removal, and landscaping
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power tools) safely under supervision
- Assist in road repairs, sidewalk installations, and park maintenance
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction materials preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (provided by city)
- Strong teamwork ethic and commitment to public service
