Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery including sweepers, loaders, and dump trucks
- Assist in snow removal and winter storm response operations
- Conduct daily inspections of assigned infrastructure assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project coordination
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Document work activities and equipment usage in digital systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in construction or public works
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and environmental stewardship
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
