Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, drainage systems, and park facilities
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks, graders) with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Execute stormwater management and flood prevention projects across city zones
- Conduct routine inspections of public utilities and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on emergency response and disaster recovery operations
- Maintain accurate work records and submit daily progress reports
- Participate in community beautification initiatives and public space revitalization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational certification in civil technology preferred
- Valid Oklahoma Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Minimum 2 years experience in heavy equipment operation or municipal maintenance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to interpret technical blueprints
- Excellent teamwork capabilities with proven conflict resolution abilities
- Must pass pre-employment physical and background check
