Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (bulldozers, graders, excavators) for infrastructure projects
- Perform manual labor including trenching, grading, and material handling
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of public facilities
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on road, drainage, and utility projects
- Document work progress and maintain equipment logs
- Respond to emergency public works situations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Commercial Driver's License (Class A/B)
- 2+ years construction/public works experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Clean driving record and background check
- Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment
- Ability to obtain Flagging Certification within 30 days
- High school diploma or equivalent required
