Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, forklifts) for infrastructure construction
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Install/repair public utilities (water lines, storm drains, traffic signals)
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and municipal regulations
- Assist in emergency response during weather-related incidents
- Maintain accurate project documentation and time logs
- Collaborate with engineering teams on site-specific requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 30-hour Construction certification required
- Pennsylvania Class A CDL license
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Experience with blueprint interpretation
